Welcome. I’m Jennifer, the artist behind these wandering lines and joyful bursts of color.

My work lives in the space where imagination meets instinct. I draw inspiration from Picasso’s fearless distortion, Matisse’s love of color, and Frank Lloyd Wright’s devotion to thoughtful structure, then filter it through my own lens of whimsy, nostalgia, and curiosity.

You’ll see recurring motifs in my pieces: lemon-bright yellows, rose-pink washes, absinthe greens, and the kinds of characters who might wander out of A Midsummer Night’s Dream with a glass in hand. Raccoons appear here and there simply because I love them, and flowers bloom in unexpected places because my lack of a green thumb can't make them bloom in real life. I use linework to anchor the looseness, even when my MCAS gives my hand a bit of a tremor. I don’t hide it. It’s part of the honesty of the art.

I paint while listening to Henry Mancini or Scary Pockets, depending on whether the day calls for something dreamy or something with a groove. My palette tends to fall into pink and orange, forever my favorite color combo.

Fun fact: my logo is a tribute to my grandmother, who shared both her creativity and her middle name with me. She once gave me a green velvet blanket with roses stitched into the center. I'm not sure what happened to that blanket but I love that the idea of it lives on in this space.
